Experience

I am currently living in Centennial, CO. I attended Brigham Young University, where I acquired my bachelor's degree in Chinese. I have lived and worked in China. I also was the president of the Chinese honor society while in high school. As president of the Chinese honor society, I put together weekly lessons to assist other students who wanted to learn the Chinese language. The majority of the students I tutored have been students I worked with in private settings. I believe Chinese is truly engrossing and compelling. Learning Chinese allows for insight into another culture. I truly have an affection for Chinese. My main goal is to pass that affection on to those I teach and tutor. I am currently offering my tutoring services in Mandarin Chinese, AP Chinese language and culture, Mandarin Chinese 2, Mandarin Chinese 3, Mandarin Chinese 4, and Mandarin Chinese 1. When I am not tutoring or studying up on the Chinese culture, I enjoy playing the cello, dancing, traveling, and discovering new art.
