My tutoring approach involves assessing a student's individual abilities, personality, and learning style, and then creating a program designed around the student's individual needs. My enjoyment and strength in the Science and Math subjects led me to tutor students in these complicated subjects. I have several years of experience working with students from elementary school through high school. I tutor a number of subjects, which include Algebra 1 and 2, Calculus 1-3, Differential Equations, Social Sciences, Trigonometry, Spanish, Astronomy, Chemistry, Physics, Reading, Writing, Psychology, and Geometry, among others. I also help students prepare for AP exams, the SAT, and the ACT.I'm currently attending Rice University, where I'm working toward an undergraduate degree in Earth Science with a focus in Geophysics. When I'm not tutoring students or concentrating on my studies at school, I enjoy reading, geology, paleontology, and planetary science. I participate on my school's rugby team as well.
