Education
I received my BA from the University of Colorado in Communications. I received my MA in Media Studies and Film Theory from The New School University. I am currently pre-doctorate, soon to be seeking a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. In order to do this, I am attending the University of Colorado again to take all my required prerequisite science courses.
Experience
Due to my current status as a student, I have very recently taken all college level basic science courses: algebra based physics I & II, chemistry I & II and biology I & II. My scholarly interests have always tended towards the math and sciences. I chose a different career path, moving to New York City to seek a masters degree and get a job in the media business. After 10 years, I decide that the media biz was not for me and moved back to Denver to in order to go back to school. I have recently started tutoring, after having been hired as an instructor at a national prep service. My own love for learning makes helping people to find that same joy very rewarding.
